2nd Open Talks event for rural development in Milies





In collaboration with Generation AG as well as Ms. Christina Stribaku, co- founder of LIA Cultivators and Gianna Balafouti, Gastronomy Instructor, an “open” discussion was held on Saturday 25/6/2022 regarding the value of processing in the agricultural sector in Milies. At the gathering approximately 50 people from the wider Foloi area participated actively where they were informed about the trends in olive and olive oil processing, cheese products as well as new ideas for the utilization of local products, always guided by good practices. The purpose of this event was to highlight the benefits to farmers of the use of good practices regarding olive oil and olives, to reinforce the importance of cheese products as well as to inform them of ways to improve the methods they use.
